About Army 250
Army 250 is a citizen-led campaign to commemorate the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday in 2025 by:
Celebrating the incredible history and story of the Army and all those who have served in or been connected to its ranks.
Educating Americans about the Army’s history and story.
Engaging as many Americans as possible in celebrations, observances, and educational experiences related to the Army’s history and story.
Army 250 is a volunteer effort led by Army veteran Dan Vallone. In addition to a weekly newsletter, you can find resources on how to learn about, teach, and celebrate the Army’s history at https://www.army250.us. This includes everything from classroom materials for teachers to events hosted by museums, veterans groups, businesses, fitness groups, and many others!
